The idea

All of Spain, known from the inside out.

Because the most memorable Spain is rarely the most obvious one. The Spainalist is a private travel advisor for travellers who expect more than a well-planned itinerary — the five-star stays with real soul, the tables that don’t take reservations, the access that comes only from knowing a country intimately.

Barcelona is home, and I know Spain the way few ever will — personally and professionally. Twenty-five years inside the industry, executive level within airlines, hotel groups and major online booking platforms. I’ve seen exactly how the machine works, and I use it to open doors a search result never will.

What I offer is curated, luxury planning, designed entirely around you. Not the busiest restaurant — the right one. Not the hotel with the most reviews — the one on the correct street.

Spain, considered. That’s the whole idea.

Insider access & VIP perks

Room upgrades, priority tables, private experiences and after-hours access — the doors twenty-five years inside the industry open, at the same rate you’d pay booking direct.

How it works

How your journey takes shape.

1

Connect

We begin with a conversation about the journey you have in mind — who is travelling, what moves you, and what is best left aside.

2

Create

I compose a personal proposal: the route, hotels of genuine character, and the tables and experiences worth your time.

3

Confirm

We refine it until it is exactly right, and I arrange the bookings, the perks and every detail.

4

In Spain

A personal concierge on hand around the clock — every request attended to, every need quietly taken care of.

The journeys

Personalized ways to travel Spain, and a concierge for both.

The Grand Tour

A tailor-made itinerary through Spain’s essential destinations — Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, San Sebastián — planned with the same care in every choice: where to sleep, the table worth booking, the timing that makes the difference.

Best for your first, properly curated trip to Spain.

Beyond the Guidebook

The Spain the average advisor doesn’t know: the quiet coves of Formentera, beaches without a footprint, the world-class kitchens of the Basque coast. The places you’d never find on your own.

Best for the return traveller — or anyone chasing the real thing.

Full Concierge

Whichever journey you choose, a personal concierge travels with you — via direct messaging, day and night — for changes, reservations and whatever the day brings.

Good questions

Before you get in touch.

Why use an advisor when I could plan it myself?
Planning a good week in Spain takes real time, and even then you’re never sure you got it right. You’re paying for judgement and access — the right choices instead of every choice — and for someone who answers when a plan needs to change.
How do I reach you — while planning and while I’m in Spain?
A personal concierge via direct messaging, around the clock. As your journey takes shape, it is the easy, direct line that refines every detail. While you are in Spain, it is a real person to turn to the moment anything arises — a change of plan, a better idea, a table at short notice.
Do you charge a planning fee?
For custom itineraries, yes — it covers the design work. Hotel and experience bookings earn a commission from the supplier at no extra cost to you, so a simple hotel booking often carries no fee at all. I’ll always be clear about it up front.
What budget do you work with?
Any range — I plan trips from comfortable to genuinely exceptional. As a rule of thumb, a well-curated Spain itinerary tends to start around $300 per person per night; that is the level at which the hotels, tables and experiences I recommend truly come into their own. Tell me your budget, and I’ll design to it.
I’ve already booked some flights and hotels. Can you still help?
Yes. I can build around what you’ve booked, or take over the parts you’d rather not handle.
What perks do I get by booking through you?
You’re booked as a VIP guest through Fora’s preferred-partner network, so the property treats you accordingly — the sort of on-site touches and credit a direct booking rarely gets. Exactly what’s included varies by hotel; I’ll tell you before you book. And it never costs more than booking direct.
What kinds of trips do you plan?
Every kind, across all of Spain — couples, families, honeymoons, groups and solo travellers alike. From a few days in Barcelona to a journey through the north, the south, the islands and the wine country. Tell me who’s travelling and what moves you, and I’ll design around it.

Peace of mind
